Specialist rehabilitation is tailored for you, it is designed to empower you to achieve your goals, support nervous system regulation, move with greater ease, engage more in the activities and relationships that matter most to you, and take meaningful steps towards thriving again.
Freedom from the suffering that is often associated with persistent pain is possible. While pain may not fully go away, it can and does change and for some it significantly reduces and even goes away over time. With the right support, understanding, and a compassionate, consistent approach, it is possible to change pain and live well alongside pain. Ann believes meaningful change is always possible and she is here to walk alongside you, at your pace.
Best practice in the management and rehabilitation of persistent pain recognises the importance of a whole person approach – care that acknowledges and honours the inseparable connection between mind and body. Ann draws on the best available evidence from physiotherapy, neuroscience, and integrative somatic therapies, and tailors this to meet your needs. Her approach is always compassionate, collaborative and responsive to your individual needs, experiences, values and goals.
Understanding you as a person is central in the therapeutic process and tailoring care. Ann takes the time to listen deeply and compassionately to your story, recognising that being heard is a powerful step in healing. By working collaboratively it is possible to reduce the distress and struggle that is often associated with chronic/persistent pain, and support you in reclaiming the ability to move with more ease, engaging in more of the meaningful activities and relationships, and take meaningful steps towards thriving. Together, we focus on helping you live well, do what you love, and thrive again.
