What Are the Embodied Wellbeing Workshops – Listening to Our Inner Wisdom?

Listening to Our Inner Wisdom is a collection of integrative, trauma-informed, compassionate somatic and embodiment workshops designed to support gentle, embodied wellbeing.

These workshops invite you to compassionately connect with your body & your innate inner wisdom, support nervous system regulation and resilience, and explore what nurtures your wellbeing.  They are suitable for anyone – whether you are living with a chronic health condition or simply wish to deepen your self-awareness, compassion and embodied presence.

Workshops are primarily offered online, with occasional in-person sessions in Lincoln and surrounding areas by arrangement.  Each session blends together guided theory and experiential practices such as gentle movement, breathwork, mindfulness/meditation, and reflective exploration, all offered in ways that honour choice, safety, and individual pacing.

My Integrative Somatic & Embodiment Approach

All workshops are grounded in:

  • Compassion-focused principles
  • Trauma-informed practice principles (safety, trust, choice, empowerment, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity)
  • Embodied and somatic movement practices
  • Nervous System Regulation & resilience 
  • Mindfulness-Based practices

My work is integrative in nature, informed by my training and experience as a Specialist Physiotherapist & Integrative Somatic Therapist.  It weaves together somatic and embodiment practices, compassion-focused practices, meditation, and mindfulness based practices, and functional breathwork to support awareness, nervous system regulation, resilience and embodied wellbeing.

The work I do recognises that the body holds much wisdom.  It invites deeper awareness of the body’s signals, supports nervous system regulation and resilience, and cultivates trust, safety, and compassionate inner connection.  Many of my offerings are also deeply aligned with nature and seasonal rhythms, supporting reconnection with both the natural world and your own internal cycles.

Workshop Offerings

Core Workshop Series – Awakening the Body’s Wisdom

This is a structured series of interconnected workshops exploring nervous system regulation, embodied compassion, compassionate boundaries, values-aligned living, and integration for personal growth and wellbeing.

One-off Themed Embodiment Workshops

Workshops exploring a specific theme, such as Embodied Aliveness, Embodied Harmony, compassion-based practices, Circle of Allies, or restorative practices such as Yoga Nidra.  

These workshops are offered occasionally and can also be tailored for specific groups of people, including people living with persistent pain or ME/CFS, or other long-term health conditions, or for private groups and communities.

Bespoke Workshops 

Custom workshops can be designed around themes such as stress management, self-compassion, values-aligned living, or workplace wellbeing.  Drawing on my integrative somatic approach, these sessions can be adapted for individual groups, or teams, including those living with chronic health conditions (including fibromyalgia, ME/CFS, Long Covid & PoTS).
