Embodied Wellbeing Workshops – Awakening the Body’s Wisdom
Awakening the Body’s Wisdom is a series of integrative, trauma-informed, compassionate somatic & embodiment workshops. They are part of the Listening to Our Inner Wisdom offerings.
These workshops support nervous system regulation, embodied compassion, values-aligned living, and gentle personal growth. They invite a slower, more embodied way of relating to yourself — cultivating awareness, safety, and compassionate connection with your body, your inner experience, and your innate capacity for healing and growth.
The series includes a four-part core pathway alongside a shorter Embodied Rest offering. You may choose to attend a single workshop series or move through the core series over time, depending on what feels right for you. These workshops are designed to support deeper connection—to your body, your inner experience, to others and the wider web of life, and your innate capacity for healing and growth.
Each workshop blends gentle education, embodied and somatic practices, compassion and mindfulness-based practices, and reflective integration – all offered in a compassionate, trauma-informed way.
While this is not a therapy group, the workshops offer a therapeutic, body-based practices that gently support personal growth, wellbeing, and healing. It’s important to note that they are not intended as a replacement for psychological therapy.

Workshops Overview
Part One: The Foundations of Nervous System Regulation
This 4-week online workshop series introduces the foundations of nervous system regulation through accessible education and gentle embodied practice.
We explore what nervous system regulation means in daily life, using supportive frameworks such as the Window of Tolerance and compassion-focused models of emotional regulation. Practices are designed to support awareness, safety, and trust in the body, helping you befriend your nervous system with curiosity and compassion.
This series is suitable for people with and without chronic health conditions or complex experiences such as persistent pain, fibromyalgia, ME/CFS, Long Covid, FND, anxiety, chronic stress, or trauma.

Part Two: Embodied Compassion
This 8-week online workshop series focuses on cultivating compassion through embodied compassion-focused practices and nervous system aware practices. It draws on Compassionate Mind Training (from Compassion Focused Therapy), and integrates theory, neuroscience, mindfulness, somatic and embodied exploration.
This series supports the ongoing development of awareness, skills, and practices that can continue to nurture regulation, resilience, and compassionate ways of being in everyday life.
Compassion can be beneficial for everyone and can be particularly supportive for people navigating long-term health conditions, chronic stress, or the effects of trauma. Research shows, that amongst other things, it can help reduce self-criticism, anxiety, and shame, while enhancing resilience and wellbeing

Part Three: Compassionate Boundaries & Living Values Aligned
This 4-week online series explores how to develop compassionate, embodied boundaries and live more in alignment with your values.
Building on foundations of nervous system regulation and compassion, the practices in this series can support clarity, confidence, and a deeper sense of integrity and connection in your daily life.

Part Four: Integration & New Growth
This 4-week online workshop series offers space to integrate the practices and insights from earlier workshops and to explore new growth.
The focus is on ongoing embodiment, self-trust, and supporting what wants to emerge next in a paced, resourced, and grounded way.

Embodied Rest
Embodied Rest is a two-part online workshop series focused on rest, restoration, and healing.
We explore what rest truly is, the different forms it can take, and what supports or interferes with it. The workshops also explore how seasonal rhythms and nature can support restorative rest and recovery.
Each session includes gentle embodied movement, restorative practices, and yoga nidra to support nervous system regulation. Rest is approached not simply as stillness, but as a regulated, nourishing state that can support deep restoration and healing.

- Payment plans if needed (completed before the workshop begins)

- The option to pay a little extra to support others who cannot afford the full cost
